Bringing people together: building stronger connections at Tout le Monde Contre le Cancer
The challenge
Tout le Monde Contre le Cancer is a charity with teams based across two locations: Paris and Villefranche-sur-Rouergue.
The organisation wanted to bring together 30 people — including employees, members of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee — for a seminar designed to do more than simply get everyone in the same room.
The challenge was to create a day that would help people:
- Get to know one another beyond their usual roles
- Encourage dialogue between people who had rarely had the opportunity to connect
- Bridge different generations, backgrounds and experiences
- Strengthen the sense of connection between the organisation’s two geographical locations
- Create a more relaxed and collaborative atmosphere
The approach
Over several weeks, we worked closely together to design the seminar, shaping the programme and adapting each activity to the specific needs of the group.
Rather than using a one-size-fits-all format, the day was built around practical, engaging exercises designed to encourage participation from everyone, whatever their age, role or level of experience.
The result was a programme of original and accessible activities that brought together employees, board members, and leaders from across the organisation.
The aim was simple: create the conditions for people to connect, reflect and find solutions together.
The results
The seminar helped create new connections across the organisation and opened up conversations between people who had never really had the chance to exchange before.
Participants discovered more about one another’s personalities, perspectives and ways of working. The atmosphere became more relaxed, and a stronger sense of trust and dialogue began to emerge.
Most importantly, the impact continued beyond the day itself: participants went on to create a working group that now meets regularly to continue working together on shared topics.
What began as a one-day seminar became the starting point for an ongoing collaboration.
Peter has a kind approach and really listens to people’s needs. He knows how to adapt a seminar to its audience and inspires confidence immediately. He helped us reflect and find the solutions ourselves.”
